i-Saraan KWSP

The EPF has launched a voluntary contribution initiative known as i-Saraan. This program provides a unique opportunity for self-employed members without fixed incomes and gig economy employees to access exclusive government incentives for retirement purposes, subject to the specified requirements.

The benefit of i-Saraan:

BENEFITS	DEFINITION
Annual Dividend	Receive annual dividends in addition to your retirement savings.
Special Incentive	Get an additional 15% on the total contribution, up to a maximum of RM300, in the current year, following government terms and conditions.
Tax Exemption	Eligible for tax exemption, subject to IRB terms and conditions.
Death Benefit	Entitled to a death benefit, subject to EPF terms and conditions.

Requirement of i-Saraan:

Malaysian
Self-employed, freelancer, and not an employee
Registered EPF member
Below 60 years old

Submit Form KWSP 16G(M) together with a photocopy of IC to the nearest KWSP branch, or

Self-Employed Employment Injury Scheme (SEEIS) by PEKERSO

The Self-Employed Employment Injury Scheme (SEEIS) was established to offer protection to individuals engaged in self-employment, as outlined in the provisions of the Self-Employment Social Security Act 2017. Coverage for self-employed individuals participating in the scheme commences on the date and time the contribution is both paid and acknowledged on the contribution payment receipt.

How to contribute SEEIS?

Photocopy of IC
Copy of driving license / e-hailing profile/permit/certificate
Letter of confirmation from the relevant association or agency subject to the type of sector

Contribution Plan:
